Composer’s Orchestra was an ensemble put together by Pianist Eric Zinman for a single performance at the Zeitgeist Gallery to perform some of Eric’s compositions and some of Raphe Malik’s. I played with Raphe Malik, a powerful trumpet player who was an alumnus of many Cecil Taylor performances, a number of times in the mid-90s but this was the only time that I made the recording.
