Robin Amos is an American keyboardist and founding member of the band Cul de Sac. His first band was The Girls, a punk band that Amos founded in the late seventies with George Condo, Mark Dagley and Daved Hild.[1] He continued to explore that band’s sound with his next band Shut Up, which he formed with guitarist Glenn Jones.[2]

Robin Amos is an electronic musician who specializes in analog synthesizers. A pioneer in multiple genres, his band history includes electronic synth (The Square Root of Negative Two), garage rock (Two Much), art-punk (The Girls), post-punk (Shut Up), post-rock (Cul de Sac), doom (Walpurgis Kin, Death of the Sun), and black metal (Infera Bruo, Grave Chalice). Robin has performed 700+ gigs in 16 countries since 1975 and co-created soundtracks for films by Roger Corman, Doris Wishman, and F.W. Murnau.
