Bio

John Baylies is a tuba player who was active in the early part of the Contemporary period. He performed with Leap of Faith, The Leap of Faith Orchestra & Sub-Units project at Third Life Studios in Somerville, 4 of the 6 Graphic Scores for the full Leap of Faith Orchestra, and Turbulence. He is also quite adept at real-time electronic manipulations of the tuba. The Turbulence Doom Choir project was formed around John with another tubist, David Harris, and Yuri and myself. John left after a few years to pursue a graduate degree in electronic music in NYC.
