Bio

Jane SpokenWord is married to the amazing bassist Albey onBass who played with Cecil Taylor for over 10 years at the end of Cecil’s life. She is an amazing poet and has performed her poetry as spoken word with the improvised accompaniment of Albey along with many accomplished NYC free improvisors. Axioms is the Evil Clown ensemble that features Jane’s poetry with PEK and Albey’s bass and sometimes other guests.
