I played with Dennis in the 90s with Raqib Hassans large band Ensemble Mogra. That band had 3 drummers: Dennis, Syd Smart, and Yuri Zbitnov. He now lives in Springfield MA and some of the people that have come recently to Evil Clown (for example, Vance Provey & Tor Snyder) have been playing with Dennis’ long running band the FMRJE (Full Metal Revolutionary Jazz Eclectic). I recently did a set with Dennis, Vance and Albey onBass and in a month or Dennis will come to Evil Clown Headquarters for a Leap of Faith Livestream.
