Bio: Cliff White



Bio

Cliff White was a member of the Joe Fonda Ensemble in the 80’s which recorded the LP, “Looking For The Lake”.  He was also part of the Leo Smith CMIF Orchestra that yielded an album entitled “The Sky Cries the Blues”. Later he studied privately with Anthony Braxton and was a part of his ensembles at Wesleyan University.  Further on he became a member and toured with a collective quartet that included Joe McPhee, Joe Fonda and Ben Karetnick. That unit released a live performance CD entitled “Heat Suite”.  Recently he has had the opportunity to perform with the Turbulence Orchestra led by David Peck.
