Evil Clown Shorties
2023 to Present
Since 2023 each Livestreaming Set from Evil Clown Headquarters records includes a “5-minute Shorty” piece at the end of the sound check. In 2023, I discovered that the digital distribution network would only recognize a recording with a single track as a “Single” regardless of its length and consequently charge and pay out a fraction of its value for sales. I combine the 5-minute Shorty with the 70-minute Broadcast into a 2-track release. Here is the page on the Evil Clown site for these recordings: https://evilclown.rocks/ecs-1/. I build a nice summary page for each ECS release which is a great way to see all the sessions and participants from a roughly 4 month period is a compact way.
